The Amazing flying Monty
| Well Monty gave me quite a performance
last night. ( Not to include the shock and horror it gave me) I was cleaning the cages and I had placed a bucket of hot water ( I could bear my hand in it but it was still hot) When all of a sudden I looked up to see Monty flying from his cage. This rat really flies, he spreads out his arms and legs like a flying fox. He landed sploosh right in the bucket of hot water. Before I could blink he flew straight out again and onto the floor. (Poor Monty) I was horrified and picked him up and put him straight under the cold water tap in case he was burning. Of course that went down like a wet weekend. I then had to leave him on the sink while I got a towel to dry this amazing flying rat. He loved the towel dry and did not seem too distressed by the whole experience. But not good for this poor old ladies heart. So people watch out for flying rats. At later time he repeated this
performance several times. |
